Yes, I carefully edit each photo individually. I have a light editing style and keep the colours natural. Additionally, I remove any temporary spots, blemishes and dark circles. Unless discussed otherwise. 

I love to photograph and to do this with as much energy as possible it is necessary to take a break. I work very long hours (I once had a 15-hour wedding!), so a good meal is very important. It would be nice if you book a crew meal for me with your caterer. Thank you!

I am from Rotterdam and can be booked all throughout the Netherlands, the wedding package includes travel costs. I would even love to come to your wedding abroad! Of course, I will have to charge extra travel costs for destination weddings.

Ik vind het heerlijk om te fotograferen en om dit met zoveel mogelijk energie te doen is het nodig om pauze te houden. Ik maak erg lange dagen (ik had een keer een bruiloft van 15 uur!). Een goede maaltijd is dan erg belangrijk. Het is fijn als jij bij je cateraar een crew maaltijd voor mij reserveert. Dan kan ik daarna weer opgeladen verder met het maken van foto’s. Dankjewel!

Of course! If you would like to take a group photo with all guests, this is best done immediately after the ceremony, when everyone is still together. A good time to take photos of the smaller groups is during the reception, after the ceremony. It is a good idea to make a list of combinations in advance. Pass these on to someone who knows the faces of the names so he or she can help me get the groups together. I recommend not to do too much, about 10 or so. We will spend about half an hour on this.

Yes please! I have had many photos ruined by people with phones in front of their faces. I will provide a complete visual story of the day so you and your guest don’t have to worry about that. 
It is best to indicate a ‘no phones’ policy on the wedding invitation or on a sign at the entrance. The use of phones is especially disturbing during the wedding ceremony, the rest of the day this isn’t such a big deal. 

I recommend doing this before the ceremony. We choose a nice place close to the wedding venue. My advice is to take about an hour for this. If you choose multiple locations, we must of course take a little longer.
My favourite time to take photos is during golden hour. This is roughly 1 to 2 hours before sunset. It is advisable to take another 15 minutes around this time for some extra pictures of you two together.

This depends on your wedding day. I like to be there about half an hour / hour before you put on your wedding dress. This way I have some time to make shots of the dress and the preparations. I often end my day about half an hour / hour after the start of the dinner or party

Believe me, this is the rule rather than the exception. That's why I love a natural way of posing. I create fun moments by giving you little assignments. I'll let you practice your opening dance one more time, we'll walk a bit and before you know it the shoot will be over and you will have nice spontaneous photos. Before the shoot I’ll give a short briefing with tips and during the shoot I’ll continue to give directions. You've got this!
A good way to get used to me and my camera is to book a couples shoot prior to the wedding.

I will deliver the photos via an online gallery within 4 weeks after the wedding. You can download the photos in high resolution through this gallery and share the photos with your wedding guests. In this gallery you can indicate your selection for the optional deluxe wedding album. This gallery will remain online for six months.

The packages include a mini album, this is a nice little extra that gives you a tangible memory. It is an album of 15 × 20 cm with 24 pages. I make the design and image selection at my own discretion.

Yes, you also have the option to upgrade to a deluxe album. This album is a wonderful keepsake. I have the albums made at a Dutch professional printing office. They are printed on high quality fine art paper. The album has space for 30 up to 100 pages. You make a selection of your favourite photos and I’ll make a beautiful album design. Before placing the order I’ll let you take a look at the design so I can make adjustments where needed. You have various options in terms of material and use of colour for the cover. After approval of the design, the album will arrive within 6 weeks.

Yes, I make the choice whether colour or black and white looks better with a photo. There will be a nice balance.

Fortunately, it has never happened that I was sick while I was hired to photograph a wedding. If this does happen, I will provide a suitable replacement.

No, I will only send the photos selected and edited by me. But I will not hold back anything, you will receive all the successful photos from me.
